Welcome to Live Music in Vancouver; the showcase cheap or free live music in our city!
I am excited about putting this site together as music has always been a huge part of my life; as my first LP was The Kinks (I was 6) and the die was cast from then on.
As I grew up, I wanted to be a DJ and then went to radio broadcasting school in Toronto but I ended up working in Music Television and then in Journalism.
Along the way, I worked at the New Music (Jeannie Beker and JD Roberts days).
For three years after that I was at MuchMusic (Erica Ehm days, back when they actually played videos)
Every job I have ever had has always had some musical component to it.
I hope to make this space the place to go to be able to find out about cheap or free live music in Vancouver!
